About Cruz PCP

I founded Cruz Primary Care PLLC to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and supported, no matter their background. As a Latina provider who has lived and worked most of my life in the U.S, particularly in Northern Virginia, I have a deep understanding of the cultural, linguistic, and systemic barriers that affect health not only in the local Latino community, but across diverse populations. 

I first began working as a Registered Nurse in 2009 and quickly became frustrated with the lack of affordable, bilingual, and culturally inclusive care available. My experience inspired me to return to school in an effort to address a growing need in our community. I’ve been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2018 and have extensive experience in both urgent care and primary care settings. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I continued to see patients both in person and via Telehealth, as I believe healthcare should be consistent, compassionate, and accessible to all, especially those who are made more vulnerable by language barriers.

In my practice, I care for individuals and families of all backgrounds with a focus on clarity, trust, and meaningful connection. Too often, patients are rushed, misunderstood, or treated without intention. My approach is different: I take the time to listen, educate, and create care plans that actually make sense for you. I understand the importance of having a provider who truly sees you, not just your symptoms, and I am passionate about my patients. As a medical professional, I am familiar with the healthcare system; however, as a working mother of three, I also understand the needs and challenges of busy, hard-working families like yours. I have created this virtual clinic to focus on you and your health and to break down the barriers that get in the way of well-being for all.
